Dr Claire Jansch

Claire has been working in mental health services since 2004. Starting out as an Assistant Psychologist for The Priory Group, then a Clinical Researcher for the Institute of Psychiatry, she went on to gain a Masters Degree in Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford. She completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manchester.

 

Claire has worked primarily for the NHS, most recently as a Senior Clinical Psychologist for Sussex Partnership NHS Trust, before moving into private practice. She has worked with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, OCD, social anxiety, health anxiety, PTSD, complex trauma, abuse, personality difficulties, emotional instability, interpersonal issues, attachment issues, low self-esteem, self-harm, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, psychosis, addictions, autism, ADHD, memory problems, chronic health issues and pain. During her time with the NHS, she also carried out service evaluation and development, research, management, consultation and supervision.

 

Claire works with a number of different approaches to suit clients needs, including Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT, Cognitive Therapy, Schema-Focused Therapy, Mentalisation-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
